This morning at my thistle feeder, a single Pine Siskin in the company of a small flock (about 4) of goldfinches. The first siskin of the year for me.

Yesterday, high drama as a juvenile Sharp-shinned Hawk took an obviously ill juvenile cowbird. (Better than watching a cat catch it...)
