Hi all as I had some commitments yesterday Mon Nov 28 on the Western
shore I was off from work. Not birding sorry to say . But in
viewing the feeders in my yard near Queenstown before leaving birds seen
Chickadees , titmouse, White Breasted Nuthatchs , Goldfinch. Than a heavy
streaked bird , notched tail . finch bill a slight eyeline above the eye
landed at the sunflower feeder. Immature Purple finch first one at my
feeders this fall . Soon it was joined by a second bird more like the
female type pictured in the fieldguides more of an eyeline showing a little
more fine streaking. Then they both were joined by a brightly colored
male Purple Finch. By then it was time to leave for the day .

Happy Birding
