I created a couple of charts and did a write up on the Hammond's Flycatcher.

A non singing empidonax is not an easy bird to identify, and I am therefore
in the camp - so aptly referred to recently by Paul O'Brien - that feels
comfortable in identifying such a difficult bird only after photos have been
published and all key field marks have been thoroughly discussed by the
experts.

One thing is for sure, when next May arrives, I will be looking at the
breeding Acadian Flycatchers with an attention to detail that I have not
known before.
