National Arboretum (1200):

American Kestrel (near NY Ave entrance). He was
hunting near what looks like an old water treatment
facility. We got great views and this was my first DC
Kestrel.

Norhern Flicker (1)
Eastern Blue bird (1)
Northern Mocking Bird (1)
Snow Geese (sizable flock flying overhead)

Patuxent Research, Lake Reddington (1400):

House Finch (4)
Savanah Sparrow (several)
Ruddy Duck (4)
Dark-eyed Junco (several)
Mallard (many)
Eastern Blue Bird
Black Vulture (2)
Northern Cardinal (4)
Wood Duck (a solitary female)

There were more ducks on the far end of Cash but it
was getting cold, so we bagged that walk.

McMillen Reservoir, DC (1600)

American Coot (many)
Ring necked duck (many)
Pied-billed Grebe (1 near the coots)

The Redheads seem to be gone! I could not find them.
