When I arrive on the site,I started "pishing",
a carolina wren became interested and then the HAMMONDS
appeared calling! They were in the vine with the berries near the trail.
What species of vine is that?Anyway the best way to describe the call
note. The call note was sharp and "sweet" and high pitch repeated for
about 15 seconds. The call reminds me of our Acadian, but not
as harsh and loud, almost the complete opposite of the acadian.
