I don't know if Jim was home to change the feeder or if the light did the 
trick, but the feeder was not frozen this morning.  The hummingbird came 
to feed just a few minutes after I arrived.

A flock of about 50 Black Scoters was nearby on the bay in Anne Arundel 
county.  A few others strayed south into Calvert for a nice county bird 
two-fer.
