I just checked the URL I copied for atlas project species-lookup. That link turns out to be a temporary pointer to the results of a search. This link will prove more robust: 
http://www.pwrc.usgs.gov/bba/index.cfm?fa=explore.ProjectHome&BBA_ID=MDDC2002. After reaching this page go to the "Results" menu and choose "By Species".
