Jim Green emailed me this afternoon to report that he found 2 LAPLAND
LONGSPURS among about 150 Horned Larks at the Patton Turf Farm. The
longspurs and larks were in the soybean stubble on the opposite side of
the road from the Patton Turf Farm sign for entrance #4.
Jim also had a flock of 20 wild turkeys in a field off of River Road
(extended) about 1 mile north of Edward’s Ferry and 7 AMERICAN PIPITS at
the Germantown Soccerplex, approximately one half mile in and right
along the park entrance road after turning in from Rt. 118 (just down
from the intersection of Riffleford Road and Rt. 118).
