Dear Ospreyers,

George Jett and I took a morning trip to the mouth of Picataway Creek at Wharf Road, PG County, yesterday, December 8th.  At least 3,000 waterfowl were on view with estimated totals as follows:
Canada Goose		300 
Tundra Swan		161
Mallard			400
Black Duck		10
Gadwall			100
Pintail			5
American Wigeon	2
Shoveler		100
Canvasback		300
Redhead		10
Ring-necked Duck	800
lesser Scaup		10
Hooded Merganser	2
Ruddy Duck		1000
