As someone who helps do this work when I'm not birding - YES, this is really important.  Your Senators are working today on Saturday.  Call in if you read this message today.
If you don't know how to reach them, you can go to many sites, but the most direct is www.senate.gov to find the phone numbers.

Continuing pressure has kept the Arctic Refuge free all this time, let's not let it go after all of the work of the past. Forward to friends out of state - they all have senators, and even some of the best that have supported keeping drilling out of the Arctic Refuge in the past might cave in this time - even pushing folks in traditionally "blue" states in the Northeast is required.
