MD Osprey:

I'm about to close the file on the Violette's Lock, Montgomery County
juvenile Neotropic Cormorant sighting. The dates I have are 8/12/2005 and
from 10/26 - 11/13/2005. I have eighteen images from D. Czaplak (finder),
four from George Jett, and two from Gary Smyle.

This was a difficult bird due to the distance and its similarity to Double
Crested Cormorants. No one submitted a formal written report. Bob Ringler's
descriptive notes on MD Osprey were the most detailed.

I have complied a comprehensive sighting log from MD Osprey and other email
messages. I believe I have already contacted anyone who provided
descriptive information in their email to obtain their permission to use
their information in our review.

If anyone has any additional documentation to submit (written reports,
photos, video, etc.), please let me know ASAP.

Thanks.

Phil
