Whilst walking to the DC Botanical Gardens at about 5.30pm last night I was 
rather surprised to see a Woodcock fly past - visible in the street lights -
 and land in the gardens in front the National Museum of the American 
Indian.  I was not able to double back and try to find it then, although I 
did look about an hour later and couldn't find it.
