Blue Mash Nature Trail, Zion Road Section, 22 Dec 05, 0800-1000
Most of the usual winter suspects along the BMNT this morning. Highlights
included a perched Red-tailed Hawk, a couple of accipitors winging their way
through the woods, a Hermit Thrush at the back woods entrance, 2 Tree
Sparrow and 1 Swamp Sparrow.
On the way out this morning, a Red-breasted Nuthatch was enjoying a home
made suet cake that hangs from a tree in my front yard. A surprise yard,
county and state bird for me!
