I hope this is an appropriate topic. Feel free to reply to me off list if

I'm interested in purchasing one of those birdfeeders that goes in your
window- it looks kind of like an aquarium on its side, you slide the top
to pour the seed in and the birds are actually in the room when they visit
the feeder. It looks like it would take up about the same amount of space
as an in window air conditioning unit.
Does anyone have this type of feeder? My husband is concerned it will let
heat out, also that it is made of glass so can people from outside see
into our house through it?
Will birds visit this feeder? It would be in a second story window in the
front of the house.
I'm just trying to justify spending $100 on a birdfeeder when my dollar
store feeders are working just fine. It would allow me to see birds when I
am in my room upstairs when my other feeders are on my back deck.
thanks!
