Lisa and I headed down to Cambridge on Sunday morning, where we
easily spotted the immature male HARLEQUIN DUCK, consorting with a
half-dozen Bufflehead, in the Cambridge Yacht Club basin. A beautiful
state bird (Alaska is the only other place we've seen one).
We did not have time to look extensively for the Glaucous Gull,
as I had to be back in the Annapolis area by noon.

	Other sightings of note:

Queen Anne's County, Kent Narrows Area:

	Ruddy Duck (20+)
	Bufflehead (8)
	Long-Tailed Duck (10)
	Ring-Billed Gull (approx 100)
	Herring Gull (1)
	Mute Swan (2)
	American Black Duck (3)

Talbot County, near Choptank River bridge on US 50:

	American Kestrel

	Choptank River, Cambridge, Dorchester County:

	Canvasback (approx 250)
	Lesser Scaup (30)
Surf Scoter (in the 100s, if not 1000s)
	Long-Tailed Duck
	Black Scoter (1)
	Bufflehead (20+)
	Common Goldeneye (2)

	A great day for birding!
