A frequent birder here (Nancy Stutzman) tipped me off today about a Redhead duck she had seen earlier in the morning on Cash Lake.  At the first opportunity, I went in search. I found it hanging out with a couple of Am Black Ducks on the upper end of Cash Lake (a little sheltered fromf the ever-increasing wind). It was seen (by me at 1:20 pm) along the near shore along Cash Lake Trail (turn right to go to "viewing area" a short distance down the trail). The same birder reported seeing 3 Bald Eagles. 
   
  Enroute to the viewing area, I also flushed a Hermit Thrush just before arriving at Goose Pond.
