The Townsend Warbler of Noland's Ferry missed its 3pm performance today (as well as all other showings from 11:30am to the time I left at 3:15 pm. However, several intrepid birders were still waiting for a later show, so...maybe?

The area was quite birdy, however, including lots of:

Golden Crowned Kinglet
Ruby-crowned Kinglet
Yellow-rumped Warblers
Winter Wrens
Carolina Wrens
Brown Creepers
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker
And virtually all other woodpeckers.

A Red-shouldered Hawk flew over & perched in the canopy for awhile. A Barred Owl called in the distance.

At Seneca Lake, Black Hill Regional Park, there were....
Canvasback
Bufflehead
Ruddy Duck
American Coot
Common Merganser

No Common Golden Eye that I could see.

Good birding,
