Several birds of note on yesterday's canal count -

Common Mergansers seen between miles 2-3, 3-4, and 6-7
Bald Eagle between 6-7 around Sycamore Island (private)
Winter Wren singing near mile 5 marker - also near Lock 5 if you go
looking for it.
Yellow-Rumped Warbler between 4-5

Good calm weirdly warm weather between miles 0 - 7, until I wrapped up at
4ish when the wind started kicking up. I little light rain, but hardly
noticable.

Strangely low counts of Rock Pigeons in Georgetown.
