Hi all,

We went for a short walk on the NCR trail north from Warren Avenue just past the first bridge. On the way back to the parking lot, we had a couple of Brown-headed Cowbirds and a lone EASTERN TOWHEE skulking in a bush. It was our first ET since Texas. I only was able to find him because I heard a very buzzy "drink your tea" call which made me stop and look for him. After I saw him, I did our "Bobwhite" call as Jill had walked on ahead of me. When she heard me call "Bobwhite" she came back and I told her I had an ET in the bushes. We both were able to find him again. What a nice year bird.

 Good birding,
 Richard
