Hello everyone. I had my spotted my local Cackling Goose this afternoon on the Little Elk Creek Bridge on Old Field Point Road. I first saw him/her, flying with a group of about 40 or so Canada Geese gliding over Elkton. I was on my way to my Dr. Appointment, when it looked like they were landing over in the direction of Old Field Point Road/Landing Lane. I often see this bird in that field at the intersection of Landing Lane and Route 40. So when I came out of the Doctors, I located them down in the creek. The tide was low and there was some mud exposed that they were hanging out on. I went back for my camera and they decided they didn't want to hang around anymore, so they started swimming down stream. I did manage to snap a few pictures off. Nothing good. Mostly fuzzy I was in a hurry and so were they.
