The drake Eurasian Wigeon was still off of the canoe ramp at the Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center today. Plenty of Canvasbacks and good numbers of Surf Scoters, LT Ducks, Greater Scaup, Tundra Swans, etc too.
A stop by Great Oak Pond was unsuccessful for Barnacle Goose though there appeared to be a Snow x Canada hybrid (or possible domestic x Canada hybrid). Same size as the neighboring Canadas, same colored mantle & tail, though the head/neck was white with some black running up the back of the neck and a pink bill. Had a male Harrier fly over the road on the way back to Chestertown.
