The Nashville Warbler reported a few days ago by Debbie Terry
(posting for Jim Wilkinson, who saw it on the 25th and 26th) was
still at the same location on Gwynns Falls trail, Carroll Park Golf
Course area, City of Baltimore, this morning, January 30th, at around 10 a.m.

The warbler was with several other birds -- a Carolina Wren, a
curiously inactive Mockingbird, and a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker -- in
three thickly leaved holly trees just past a concrete wall a short
distance up the trail from the parking lot. The Nashville was quite
skittish and difficult to see, so if you go look for it, just wait
quietly and watch for movement. At one point, it flew out of the
tree about 12 feet over to some low, bare shrubs near the golf course
cart path and tried unsuccessfully to hide there, before flying back
to one of the hollies. The area upstream from here is horribly
strewn with assorted rubbish from the landfill (?) some distance to
the north, but was quite birdy. Besides lots of White-throated
Sparrows, there were Golden-crowned Kinglets, at least 2 Brown
Creepers and a Winter Wren.
