Brrr, that wind really kicked up this evening, so I cut out my trip to Jug Bay and settled for Schoolhouse Pond in Upper Marlboro. Things were pretty scarce.

Canada Geese 5
Mallard 6
Ring-billed Gulls 1,000,000
Northern Cardinals 2
Song Sparrow 1 (singing!)
Mourning Dove 1

Pied-bill Grebe 1

Raccoon 1 (in tree sleeping)

I noticed that the WT Sparrows were no where to be found as were the Great Blue Herons.

Also, I've noticed that the pair of Mute Swans normally in residence here seemed to have flown the coup.
