During a short birding trip to the Clarksburg Rd bridge in Black Hills
Regional Park, a group of us saw the resident adult bald eagle, but this
time with a juvenile. Although no experts on eagles were present, we
guessed that the juvi was likely a first year, since it had very little
white on it. Has anyone ever seen an eagle nest there?

Also of note were 18 tundra swans, a pair of goldeneyes (male and
female), 10 or so common mergansers, ring-necked ducks, ruddy ducks, and
buffleheads.

Our trip was unfortunately cut short due to rain.
