This afternoon at about 2 pm, I saw two adult
Peregrine Falcons from my office window.  They made a
few passes over downtown Bethesda before disappearing
and after frightening the pigeons.  Like the two that
I watched for a half hour in mid-December, there
didn't seem to be a huge difference in size between
the larger bird and the smaller bird, so I am
wondering if today's birds are the same as December's
birds.  The closest today's birds were to my vantage
point was about a hundred feet as one flew quickly
past my window.  

Shortly after they disappeared, a young Cooper's Hawk
flew over my building.
