The YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKERS were back this morning on the
Paint Branch Stream Valley Park trail in College Park (PG
County): a male where I'd last reported him, just north of
Metzerott, toward the golf course, and a female in the
forest south of Metzerott, near the university. Also had a
WINTER WREN and a couple FOX SPARROWS along with
RED-SHOULDERED HAWKS, RED-TAILED HAWKS, and a male AMERICAN
KESTREL. (In the afternoon I picked up some more day birds,
including GREAT BLUE HERON and PILEATED WOODPECKER). Full
