Hi, 

I just saw an adult Peregrine Falcon chasing pigeons
and flying past my office window.  As usual, the
pigeons caught my eye and after a few seconds I saw
the falcon.  It came as close as the equivalent of 7-8
stories almost directly above my window, then dove
down almost to my level as it sailed away to the
north.  

I don't recall seeing any immature Peregrines this
winter, just adults.  In the past sightings of
immatures have outnumbered adults perhaps 10 (or more)
to 1 overall.  This is only about the fifth day this
winter I've noticed any hawks at all.
