Greetings,

The Kent County Bird Club will be traveling in search of rarities on Saturday, 18 February. Leaders Walter Ellison and Nancy Martin have decided that the American White Pelicans at Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge in Dorchester County will be our primary target for the day. We are open to the idea of other possibilities, such as the Ruff on Griffith Neck Rd (also Dorchester County) if participants are interested in extending the trip.

Meet at the usual gathering place in front of the Dollar General Store, near the intersection of Washington Ave and Spring St in downtown Chestertown, at 8:00 AM. Bring snacking food or lunch, appropriate clothing for the weather, and Duck Stamp or other Refuge admission pass if you have one.

Hope to see you then,

Walter Ellison
