Yes, the Common Grackles are back! I was wondering where they were. A
couple of displaying males were in the trees in front of the Hirshhorn
Museum. This morning there was a large flock of American Robins and
Cedar Waxwings in the Enid Haupt Garden behind the Castle. There are a
few Swamp Sparrows in the rushes of the North American Indian Museum
pond. And yesterday, a Cooper's Hawk was sitting on the arrow part of
the Castle weathervane.
