Hello,
Well, you cannot actually get into the Denton WWTP as the staff will not grant access citing security reasons. (Personal comment - I do not know why birders are such a security risk here while other treatment plants regularly grant access). Anyway, you have to find a view of the ponds where you can.
So from 404 EB, turn left at the light at Legion Rd (the east end of the Denton bypass) and the turn right into the Roses shopping center. Go around behind the building and go to the far end by the dumpster. Here there is a little path up the embankment and you can look through the fence into back pond.
The middle pond is a bit more difficult. Return the 404 EB and go east to the next light. Make a left and another left onto the service road, then right into the industrial park (Engelmann Drive??). Turn in past the 2ns building on the left. There is a "Space Available" sign and this side of the building appears unoccupied. At the end of the parking lot is a dirt mound. From here you can get a half decent, but obstructed by fence and trees, view of the pond.

Good Birding,
