Scott and Bonnie Carr and I got good views of 2 Razorbills at Indian River 
inlet today 18 Feb 2006 at 12:30 pm, they were out beyond the jetty to the 
right of the tower.  Others birding there also got views of these birds.  A 
male Harlequin duck was also seen against the south side of the jetty below 
the tower offering us some great views, he then swam out with the raft of 
scoters. Other birds seen Black Scoter, Surf Scoter, Long-tailed duck, Great 
Cormorant, Purple Sandpiper, Ruddy Turnstone, Sanderling, Great Black-backed 
gull, Northern Gannet, Brant, Common Loon, Red-throated Loon.

Ocean City inlet
Great Black-backed Gull, Ring-billed Gull, Herring Gull, American 
Oystercatcher, Ruddy Turnstone, Red-throated Loon, Common Loon, Red-breasted 
Merganser, Bufflehead, Black Scoter, Northern Gannet, Long-tailed Duck, 
Brant, American Black Duck, Sanderling, Double-crested Cormorant.  A seal 
also made a brief appearance at about 4:45.

West OC ponds
Canvasback, Green-winged Teal, Hooded Merganser, Ruddy Duck, Northern 
Pintail, Gadwall, Northern Shoveller, Mallard, American Black Duck, 
Black-crowned Night Heron, Great Blue Heron, Yellow-rumped Warbler, 
Ring-billed Gull, American Robin.

Eagles Nest
Eurasian Wigeon, American Wigeon, Gadwall, Scaup sp., American Black Duck, 
Brown-headed Nuthatch, Eastern Meadowlark, Killdeer, Yellow-rumped Warbler, 
White-throated Sparrow, Northern Cardinal, American Robin, Ring-billed gull, 
Sharp-shinned Hawk (flyover).

Third Street flats
American Oystercatcher, American Black duck, Great Black-backed Gull, Common 
Loon, Brant, Red-breasted Merganser, Herring Gull, Ring-billed Gull, 
Mallard, Great Blue Heron, Bufflehead, Double-crested Cormorant.

Assateague
American Black Duck, Bufflehead, Yellow-rumped Warbler, Bald Eagle, Brant, 
Greater Scaup, Hooded Merganser.
