Unfortunately, the forecast updated late this afternoon has worsened
significantly. For the safety of our participants, we are cancelling the trip.

If you had a reservaton, please let us know what you want us to do with your
fare. You may put it towards a future trip (March 5 Cape May and April 1 out
of Lewes are coming up soon), have us hold a credit for you, or request a
refund check. Again, please let us know.

If you planned to show up as a walk-on, don't.

Our March 5 Cape May trip still has space and will be covering NJ and DE waters.
This trip will be targetting the same birds as the cancelled Feb. 25 trip, in
particular alcids. We had 20 Common Murres, a Thick-billed Murre, Puffin,
Razorbill, and loads of Dovekies out of NY on Feb. 21. Hopefully some of these
bird are just a bit farther south too.

Our April 1 Lewes trip still has space and will be covering DE and MD waters.
This trip is being organized to try for rarities at a very underexplored time
of year. Our hope is to find Great Skua or an albatross with the large flocks
of Gannets migrating northward at this time of year. Our one April trip that
sailed in 2004 found Fulmar, Sooty Shearwater, a probable Manx Shearwater, Red
Phalarope, Kittiwake, Iceland Gull, over 1,000 Gannets, and nearly 100
Razorbills, many sporting breeding plumage.

On a more personal note, if anybody wants to come to my house and pick up 20
pounds or so of suet... ;-)
