I stopped by the boat ramp cove area of Black Hill Regional Park yesterday
afternoon (2/21, 2:20 PM) -- while watching 50-75+ American Coot, they
suddenly starting flushing toward the sides of the lake, a few at a time.
An adult bald eagle was soaring overhead -- the first time I've spotted
him/her around this part of the lake this winter.
Other birds included a female Common Merganser, a juvenile Sharp-shinned or
Cooper's hawk (I only got a quick look), and two Eastern Bluebirds.
I also apologize for the odd subject line of my last post, if it showed up
as "=?windows-1252?Q?Yard_birds_(RBNU,_ATSP)?=" for anyone else -- I think
that it's a result of using AOL. I'll try a different browser in the future.
