Hi all this Morning 3- 05 was the 2nd bird walk for the Talbot County
Bird Club. Our stomping Grounds today Was the Wye Island WMA in Queen
Annes County . The leader was Danny Poet but where were all the Talbot
Club members ? No one from there showed up . We did have two
Vistors one a new birder just starrting out from Queenstown , The other
a man member of the AA county chapter of MOS . When we were all together we
saw about 31 species highlights of which are
Canada Geese many
Snow Goose 1 in flock of Canadas
Black Ducks
Canvasback
Bufflehead
Lesser Scaup
Tundra Swan 6
Red Tailed Hawk 1
Bald Eagles 2 on nests
TV several
Killdeer heard only
Flicker
Red Bellied Woodpecker 3
Hairy woodpecker 1
Downy Woodpecker 3

American Crow
Carolina Chickadee 3
Tufted Titmouse 1
White Breasted Nuthatch
Carolina Wren 10
Eastern Bluebirds 6 The males were singing . one male was
doing the wing wave display

White Throated Sparrow s many
Song sparrow
After 11:00 am the guests left I went to the last trail on the lower end
of the Island were I added 9 More species
to the list It is called
Ferry Point trail
