Hi  All    This morning 3 - 07 - 06  after arriving at work got out of 
my truck happened to glance into the back bed  and saw a Dark eyed Junco  
next to the side panel . All the  while  wondering how a dead bird got into 
the back of my truck .  I walked over to it and saw it was still alive   .  
I was able  to pick it up  easy and place it near the edge of a brushy area  
where it sat still.     I   checked back latter in the day and did not see 
the bird . My best guess   the bird  was ill or hurt  or roosted there last 
night for some reason  and  I took off this morning  before it could fly off 
. Either case I   a m sure it  had a cold ride .     yesterday  3 - 06 - 06  
I  had an  Osprey fly low  overhead here at the Wye Research  Center  near 
Queenstown  my second for the year.
