This morning a Lesser Black-back Gull in adult plumage was seen at the
end of a row of Ring-billed's on the mud flats at Kingman I. No Greater
B-b's or Herrings were present. Overhead, a small group of 3 Tree
Swallows soared about - this no longer an especially early date for
them. Three Hooded Merg's were a handsome addition to the usual gang of
idiots - 60 Canada Geese (an unusually small showing), 18 Mallards, 65
Ring-bills.

The Snipe first reported here on Feb 28 at Kenilworth Park were no
longer present y'day (Mar 8).

Also y'day over Bowie - Canada Geese high overhead, flying north in
obvious migration; and in the evening, Tundra Swans.
