I heard then saw a flock of about 75 Canada Geese this
morning just as I was about to enter my office
building.  A nice way to start the morning.  

During my lunch-time walk I almost stepped on a female
House Sparrow.  I've never been so close to stepping
on one before...usually they scurry out of the way in
time but this afternoon it didn't move that fast.  It
then proceeded to hop under a parked car.
