An American Woodcock was in the garden area of Patterson Park yesterday. It
flushed several times as a couple of people worked nearby. I watched it for
ten minutes ­ sitting in the corner of the fenced-in area, before it flushed
and flew over one guys shoulder.

In addition to the Urban Park regulars, four Fox Sparrow, and eight Song
Sparrow got ticked off [my list]. I was really temped to put a Fox Sparrow
in my pocket; because I have not seen one in my back yard in years.
