I agree with both Richard and Tyler. I think the ABA is doing what they
think the majority of the membership wants and they may be right in their
choices. I can sympathize with the Board of Directors--they must feel like
they're shooting at a moving target and no matter what they do they get
criticized.
Been there, done that.
The ABA did a survey of the membership awhile back and they then published
a short writeup on their interpretation of the responses that were
received. Instead of the interpretation, I would much rather have seen the
raw numbers associated with each question and done my own interpretation.
I may be a cynic, but I always mistrust others' interpretations.
