I watched a Red-shouldered Hawk have a snake for dinner around 5:00 PM
Sunday 3/19. The snake was 18 inches to 2 feet long. The last 6 inches of
the snake's tail was very narrow and tapered. The snake had a light belly
and brown above with two rows of dots. I am guessing that it may have been a
brown snake but I am not a snake expert. I did get a few pictures. Anybody
have any ideas on what kind of snakes would be in the Columbia, MD area that
matches this description?
