Though I too had to spend nearly all of the day indoors, I did notice over 
a wide-spread area that many vultures (both black and turkey) were in the 
air unusually early (6:15-7) in the day, and later as I was driving home, 
I saw an immature bald eagle way up, apparently passing through.  It 
caused me a moment of excitement before I identified it as a bald eagle.
