From Metro's Yellow Line train, I saw a pair of osprey on the RR bridge that 
crosses the Potomac parallel to the 14th Street Bridge. The old osprey nest 
took a beating in some storms last fall, so they may be looking at a 
rebuilding project. The peregrine falcon I often see on that same bridge in 
the winter was still hanging out there, too.
