Hi all!

I saw my first Chimney Swift of the year at lunchtime
today! It's spring, it's spring!!!! Oh, and not
related, a few minutes later I heard the raspy cry of
a Red-Tailed Hawk and looked up in time to see it pass
very low overhead. Other birds singing out back
include Titmouse, Cardinals, Mockingbird...

I love Spring! It always makes me think of my
favorite poem by e.e. cummings - i thank you God for
most this amazing day, for the leaping greenly spirit
of trees, and the blue true dream of sky, and for
everything which is natural, which is infinite, which
is yes! (Or maybe the poem always makes me think of
Spring? Who knows...)

Good birding,
Lynette, at work in Sykesville, MD
