I found a furball around an inch and a half in diameter at the base
of a tree that has a Screech Owl nest box on it. I opened the furball
and found two very small canine teeth and what looked like a couple
of pieces of plant material. Does this sound like an owl pellet?
Would a Screech Owl regurgitate something that size? I have
neither seen nor heard a Screech Owl near the nest box this year.
