This morning on the Talbot County Bird Club hike, another unusual Robin was
seen. This one had lots of white on the breast. Normal breast coloring
extended down the neck for an inch or so, then faded into white. The white
prevailed on down the rest of the belly. Head, back, and wings seemed to
carry the usual coloring.

Frank Almaida called me a short while ago and told me he just saw an
unusual
American Robin. It was among a large flock of robins in front of a house
at 1961 Middle Bridge Drive (near Indian Springs Country Club) in Montgomery

County (page 46, A-3, DeLorme Map Book). The robin had a white back and
white
wings, everything else was normal. Frank is trying to get a picture of the

bird

I saw an unusual robin a number of years ago here at our pond in Ashton. It

was a nearly complete albino (heavily leucistic at least) and when I first
saw
it, off and on for a number of days, I thought it was a light colored
Mockingbird. Only upon closer inspection did I find it was a robin.
