Norm
I appreciate your concerns and certainly agree with them. Any idle
request for nesting sites should be approached cautiously.
However, I have mentioned before Ms. Wink's expertise on Great Horned
Owls. I remember her telling me once that she has observed over 3000
Great Horned Owl nests in her studies of the bird. After my question
about owls eating chickens, Judy forwarded to me 2 of her professionally
published papers on eating habits of Great Horned Owls.
I posted Judy's email address so anyone with info could contact her
directly and not post to MDOsprey. I urge anyone with any concerns to
contact Judy directly. Also, I will ask Judy for more info.
