Hi,

On Saturday while I was out atlasing I spotted 2 pairs of Northern Gannets 
(perhaps same 2 birds seen from 2 different locations).  The birds were 
flying over Broad Creek.

I could not find the safe dates for these with my Atlas info, but I will 
keep my eyes open for suitable rocky seamounts in the vicinity.

I also saw a pair of Pileateds exploring cavities and some nice 
non-breeders such as a Winter Wren and 2 Purple Finches (Adult 
males).  Plus lots of Surf Scoters, Common Loons and Horned Grebes (some of 
the latter 2 in breeding plumage)
