A deliberately leisurely walk to pick out what little action afforded was rewarded with the reappearance of a male Merlin at its usual location in the
upper reaches of Lake Roland. It has done so for several years running. In-
terestingly, a female Merlin has appeared at the same location for a number
of years during the fall. Following, a list of observed specie:
