A nice flight on a very pleasant day.
Non-raptor Observations:
About 150 Horned Grebes; Tree Swallows increasing in numbers, with some
Rough-winged Swallows and a Barn Swallow; six Common Loons and 7
Red-throated Loons.

Site Description:
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at
the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are from the southwest. Anne Arundel County has recently taken over the operation of the Park from the City of Baltimore. It is currently
closed to the general public for renovations and will reopen April 1.
Advance permission from the compiler needed until then to visit hawkwatch.
