Raptor Observations:
At 11 am the winds turned to the southwest, a few clouds built up, and a
high and earnest flight began.
Non-raptor Observations:
Double-crested Cormorants on the move.

Site Description:
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at
the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are from the southwest. Anne Arundel County has recently taken over the operation of the Park from the City of Baltimore. A re-opening ceremony will be held on March 31 at 1 pm. and the park gates will open at noon at no charge. Regular fees will be in effect beginning April 1.
